From 31 July to 3 August 2026, ChinaJoy (China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference) ran at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. VberAI exhibited in Hall W5, showing its game-production AI stack—including AI Studio and MCP for Unity / Godot / Cocos.

Who stopped by

Through the show, the booth stayed busy with domestic and international visitors, including:

  • Players and content enthusiasts
  • Indies and small-team engineers / artists
  • Project leads
  • Founders and other decision-makers

Questions clustered on real production: how UI and assets reach the engine, how AI pairs with the editor, and fit with existing Unity / Godot / Cocos projects. Conversations skewed toward “can this plug into our pipeline?” rather than casual demos.

Visitors and conversations at the booth

Printed product overviews were prepared for takeaway. Stock ran out on day one—demand exceeded the planned print run. Later days relied more on live walkthroughs, demos, and contact exchange.

International visitors: dense interest from Russian clients

Beyond China-based teams, the booth hosted multiple overseas groups. Inquiries from Russian-direction clients stood out: interest in AI Studio and engine MCP workflows, plus follow-up on collaboration style, product shape, and next-step contact.

ChinaJoy remains a practical window to Russian-speaking game and interactive-entertainment professionals.

Korean 3D asset company and follow-up intent

The booth also hosted a Korean company focused on game 3D assets. Attendees were the company principal and an accompanying interpreter (two women). Both sides discussed business direction and tool capabilities in person and exchanged business cards, leaving a channel for later contact.

Talk focused on how 3D assets are supplied and docked into game pipelines, and how VberAI’s canvas / toolchain can work with an external asset line. Their strength is on the asset side—complementary to the UI, animation, audio, and engine MCP shown on-site, not a one-way pitch.

Next month: game 3D asset generation

Per the product roadmap, VberAI will ship game 3D asset generation next month—bridging from 2D UI / asset layout toward 3D assets usable in game engines.

Once that capability is live, the ChinaJoy contact has a natural path forward: keep talking with the Korean firm about asset docking (formats, pipelines, partnership shape). Any collaboration depends on both sides’ later evaluation; the expo was the face-to-face start for trust and alignment.

What demos emphasized

Walkthroughs centered on how the VberAI stack splits real production work:

LineFrequent questions
AI StudioHow canvas UI / animation / audio enter a game project
Engine MCPHow AI IDEs such as Cursor drive the open editor
Overall fitCoverage of the team’s engine stack; trial and onboarding
Coming soonGame 3D asset generation and docking with external asset lines

Visitors cared more about path and boundaries than buzzwords.

Takeaway

The W5 booth at ChinaJoy 2026 showed sustained interest in the VberAI product line—from players to decision-makers, print gone on day one; overseas, Russian clients inquired heavily, and a Korean 3D asset company completed an in-person exchange and card swap. With game 3D asset generation due next month, international leads from the show—especially asset-side docking—move into follow-up on the product calendar.
